The Obama Administration could look at their agenda items and
select key issues which Citizen Advisors could partake. For example, the
Obama Administration has agenda items listed under Civil Rights, Disabilities,
Women, Veterans, Family, Seniors, Immigration, etc. where Citizen Advisors may
be able to contribute to the discussion.
The Obama Administration may then call for Citizen Advisor volunteers on
particular issues and then the Administration would select a handful
of Citizen Advisors on each issue. The Citizen Advisor would not speak on
all issues, but only the particular issue to which they are well-versed by their
own experiences and life.
Citizen Advisors could offer real-life knowledge of how an
issue really affects ordinary Americans like them and give input on policy
discussions taking place. The Citizen Advisor could appear at these
discussions via WebCam or in certain situations by attending meetings in
Washington if needed.
