What We Are
CollegeSitter.com is a targeted Web site serving select colleges and college towns. We use a concentrated approach to give parents and sitters the best chance at finding one another. 

As the student sitter, you pay nothing!  When you register for free, you will list your availability, how much you charge an hour, any special training, and other items that will help in finding babysitting jobs. Your information is then entered into our database where local families can find it when they search for sitters.  If a parent would like to contact you about your listing, you will receive an e-mail notification from our site.  You will also receive a message in the "My Account" area of our site. We keep your personal contact information private, although you may share that information anytime you feel comfortable doing so.

As a student sitter, you may also search job postings submitted by area parents looking for service.  As a registered user of our site, you will be able to contact  parents about their job openings.

What We Aren't
CollegeSitter.com is not a referral service. We do not screen parents or sitters. We are a communications tool.  We simply wish to facilitate student babysitters meeting with parents looking for babysitting service. We do not screen any site users and do not control rates or fees. In the end, any relationship you have with a parent is between you and that parent.
